About Armory Light
Armory Light started off in February 2008 as a simple page to gather statistics about high-end, Level 70 raiding World of Warcraft characters. Using these statistics, we wanted to figure out popular talent trees and gear combinations. Only a few days later, Armory Light was hit by more than 300 users in a single day. While this doesn't like much, it was too much for the poorly written code and the shared server that made up Armory Light. Two weeks (and many sleepless nights) later, Armory Light was running with a completely rewritten code base on a dedicated server.
Today, Armory Light is serving over 10.000 World of Warcraft character profiles a day and is steadily growing. New and exciting features are continuously added in order to remain the leading World of Warcraft Armory website. We are constantly improving the site, and there are always new features being developed in the labs! We love to hear from our users, so if there's something you'd like to see implemented be sure to contact us!
Being World of Warcraft gamers ourselves, we are firmly committed to the rules of gameplay. As such, we have a firm stance against virtual item markets, real money trading (RMT) and powerleveling services. You will never see us support such efforts. Furthermore, anything against the World of Warcraft Terms of Use or End User License Agreement is strictly prohibited on Armory Light.
